Hamilton Primary School George Street is working towards becoming an energy efficient school and recently updated its lighting to become more globally friendly, as well as developing a team of students to regularly monitor water usage. New bins were recently purchased for the classroom where students recycle as much as possible.
Senior students take their knowledge and learning out into the community and conduct an inquiry research project with local businesses to determine both individual sustainable /energy efficient practices, along with cross checking data for the most sustainable and energy efficient practice in the community.
